The fund tracker built for badminton clubs
Every club has someone who ends up holding the money for court bookings and shuttles. SquadKitty is the free, shared answer to "how much is left in the kitty?" — no spreadsheet, no signups for the rest of the club.
Built for badminton nights, not accounting software
Court hire is booked weekly, shuttles get used up, and someone always ends up covering the gap until dues come in. That person is usually you. SquadKitty turns that into a link you can share in the group chat — anyone can check the balance, only you can edit it.
- Court booking, shuttles and equipment as ready-made categories — rename or add your own any time
- Set weekly or monthly dues per player and see who's paid at a glance
- A live balance link anyone in the club can open — no account needed to view it
- "About 6 more weeks at recent spending" — a running-out-of-money warning before it happens
How it works
- Create your fund. Sign up free and pick "Court sports" — court booking, shuttles and equipment are set up for you.
- Share the link or code. Drop it in your club's WhatsApp or group chat. Anyone with it can see the balance — no account needed.
- Log dues and spending. Add your players, then record who's paid and what court time and shuttles cost.
- Everyone stays in sync. The balance updates live for anyone watching the link. Only you can add or edit entries.
Why not just a spreadsheet or a WhatsApp message?
Because nobody opens the spreadsheet, and a message showing the balance is out of date the moment someone pays you in the car park. A link that's always current is the only version people actually check — and it means you stop being asked "how much is left?" in the group chat.
Questions
- Do the rest of the club need to sign up?
- No. Only the organiser needs an account. Everyone else just opens the link.
- Is it free?
- Yes, no card required.
- Does real money move through the app?
- No — it's a running tally of what's been collected and spent, not a payment app.
- We also play tennis or padel — does this still work?
- Yes, court sports all share the same preset, and categories are fully editable.
